College Information Night @ Hood River Valley High School Oct 4 2017

This Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Hood River Valley High School is hosting over twenty college and university representatives on campus. This event is for current Junior and Senior Hood River Valley High School students and their families. The information session includes a guest speaker, Ben Cannon, Executive Director, Higher Education Coordinating Committee, beginning at 6pm in Bowe Theater.

After the guest speaker presentation, breakout sessions will be held on the following topics:

• College Admission Process
• Scholarship Overview
• Financial Aid Overview
• SAT & Khan Academy Overview
• Public Universities
• Private Universities
• Community Colleges

There are two breakout sessions scheduled for 6:40-7:00pm and 7:05-7:25pm.

Beginning at 7:30pm, there will be a College Fair in the Commons, with representatives from the following higher education institutions:
