Hood River Bridge Late Night 4-Hour Closures Oct 11-13 2017

The Hood River Bridge will be closed for fours hours, from 11pm to 3am the evenings of October 11-12, 2017 and October 12-13, 2017.  This is in addition to the hour-long closures scheduled for Oct 9, 2017, and Oct 10, 2017.  The 4-hour complete closures these two evenings are to minimize daytime traffic impacts.  The late-night closures are for strain gage testing of the lift span.

Again, travelers should plan for late night 4-hour closure delays of the entire bridge on Oct11th-13th.  Needless to say, this will cause major delays.  The Port of Hood River is encouraging motorists to use the bridge crossing in The Dalles or Cascade Locks as alternative crossings.

Emergency response vehicles will be able to use the bridge during the 4-hour closures, if necessary.
